The weather may tend to be warmer down south but a new survey today revealed that Scots have the sunniest disposition.Aberdeen ..(is)... revealed as the happiest place to live in the UK, with Glasgow coming in a close second. The survey came up with the results after judging factors such as environmental surroundings, community spirit and ratio of men to women. The poll of 2,000 Britons found Aberdonians stayed chirpy because they have access to large areas of green space and have a close community spirit....the survey found 78% of residents live in an area with plenty of greenery. Furthermore, 85% of people live with friends, family or partners, rather than alone or with strangers, more than half the city's residents live in a close-knit community and there is roughly the same number of men to women in the city.
