Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA)
AQA is the largest Unitary Awarding body in the UK, offering a broad range of academic and vocational qualifications for 3 million candidate entries per year. JET SET (Junior English Tests and Senior English Tests) are EFL tests for 6 to 16 year olds offered, on demand, in any country.

London Tests of English
London Tests of English and London Tests of English for Children are scenario based English language assessments for speakers of other languages. They test the four skills and allow students the freedom to express themselves, to show what they can do and how well they can use English. Pearson Language Assessments is the new EFL Unit within Pearson set up to work alongside Edexcel (a Pearson company) to develop, promote and administer these exams.

The Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research acts as a focal point and a clearing house for information on what in the UK is called modern language teaching. It is designed for language teachers in the UK, but could be a useful starting point for teachers elsewhere too.
