Membership is open to anyone involved in the English Language Teaching industry and our members include teachers, lecturers, teacher trainers, academic managers, researchers and institutions.

Types of membership
IATEFL has different types of membership, all of which are renewable on an annual basis. Individual and Retired Memberships are for individual teachers. Our student membership is available for student teachers. Institutional Memberships are primarily intended for schools, colleges and universities. Each membership category has various membership benefits.
