An IATEFL Research Special Interest Group event supported by the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Decentering ELT initiative
Teachers Research! Online 2023, organized by IATEFL Research SIG and sponsored by the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust, Decentring ELT initiative, brings together poster presentations by teacher-researchers from diverse educational contexts.
Following on from the very successful 2021 conference on the same theme, this online event is participant-centred, placing teachers’ own inquiries and discoveries at the centre rather than viewing them as receivers of expert knowledge. The innovative format of the sessions promotes interaction among presenters and participants by allowing ample discussion time in break-out rooms after brief poster presentations. The programme also features plenary sessions which place groups of teachers and mentors at centre-stage.
The event will take place online on Friday 17th March and Saturday 18th March 2023 and will use Zoom to deliver the sessions.
There will be a main plenary room and three concurrent session rooms. Registration closes on 15 March 2023 with joining instructions being sent via email to all registered participants on the 16th March. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder before contacting [email protected]
