Artificial Intelligence for language learning
An IATEFL LTSIG webinar presented by Lindsey Klein
This webinar will be aimed at illustrating the potential of Artificial Intelligence for language learning, with particular reference to oracy and automatic feedback. An example of programme named Robotel will be presented, highlighting main results of some research projects conducted with sample of students in different countries, including Italy.
By combining a digital platform with well-thought-through curricula, Robotel aims at transforming the way students learn a language so that it is more active and authentic: in fact, the student is constantly engaged and can reflect on his/her language experience thanks to the support of Artificial Intelligence.
PRESENTER:
Lindsey Klein is a K-12 English and German language teacher, author, and curriculum developer. She taught at the high school level for 13 years before becoming a part of the Robotel team. She is now the lead author driving both the curricula development and the digital platform and apps.
