BESIG: 36th IATEFL BESIG annual conference

Join IATEFL Business English SIG for their 36th IATEFL BESIG annual conference which will be taking place face-to-face in Stuttgart, Germany.

We are excited to return to Germany for the 36th IATEFL BESIG annual conference and once again to be in Stuttgart, the city “where business meets the future”.

This year's conference theme is ‘Business Intelligence’, which plays on the buzz surrounding Artificial Intelligence.

We will explore the role of business English training in developing and enhancing intelligence in the workplace. Topics will include: business English training in the age of digital transformation, remote work and discourse communities, evaluating learning impact and the role of business English in promoting positive social change and sustainable practices.

We have two fantastic plenary speakers lined up for you. On Friday 3 November, Clarice Chan, will be speaking on 'How can existing research help business English practitioners with needs analysis and course design' whilst our Saturday 4 November plenary speaker, Mike Hogan, will be talking about, 'The need for agility, creativity and innovation (in our clients and in ourselves)'
