BESIG: 37th Annual IATEFL BESIG Conference

IATEFL BESIG is delighted to announce a return to Malta for the 37th Annual IATEFL BESIG Conference.

It will take place at Urban Valley Resort and Spa, Trig Wied Ghollieqa, San Gwann, Malta. The conference will begin on Friday 22 November at 13.30 CET (12.30 UK time), with registration opening from 13.00 - 13.30 CET (12.00 - 12.30 UK time). The conference runs until Sunday 24 November 13.00 CET (12.00 UK time).

Accommodation is still available for a special rate at the resort subject to availability.The email address for the special IATEFL BESIG price at the venue and the code can be found on the Malta Information Sheet. Online registration will close on 18 November although people can still register onsite in Malta.

Alternative accommodation can be found in Msida (walking distance) or in Sliema (reachable on foot or by bus).

The conference theme is 'Business Frontiers - Creating the future together'. We are especially interested in talks and workshops on business English learning technologies, teaching practices, future-proofing and employability, sustainability and teaching in the global world.

The two plenary speakers are Daniel Xerri who will talk about Navigating change: Cultivating Adaptability in the Business English Classroom and Anna Plaksiienko who will present on Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: Sustainable Development through Business English.

An administration fee will be charged to anyone who has paid the wrong amount and requests a refund.

Booking fees will increase to the standard rate for those delegates who book but do not pay by the earlybird deadline.
