Joint RESIG, GISIG & YLTSIG - online PCE: Researching Social Justice in Young Learner Classrooms

Join three IATEFL SIGs: Global Issues, Research and Young Learners & Teenagers SIG for their joint 2025 Pre-Conference Event on 7 April 2025.

The event will focus on how the crucial topic of social justice is currently being handled in Young Learner classrooms around the world, looking at up-to-date ongoing research projects and exploring how classroom practitioners can engage in and benefit from such research.

Together, we will investigate current challenges and discuss the next steps we all need to take, through enjoying a range of insightful and interactive plenary talks and workshops, as well as a poster session showcasing a range of diverse voices of researchers and practitioners from around the globe.

The day will include numerous interactive activities, and lots of opportunities for networking.

This is a perfect day for teachers who have research to share or who want to find out how to get started bringing the important topic of social justice to their classrooms. We look forward to seeing you there and helping you to find support, new friends, and inspiration!
